NUSA PENIDA
Nusa Penida is relatively underdeveloped compared to the other islands and is appreciated for its incredible landscapes and nature. Contrary to Bali and Lombok that are volcanic, Penida has a limestone foundation. Its scenery is composed of steep cliffs, incredible hidden beaches and rich marine seascapes. While there are restaurants, yoga shalas, and endless treks to be done, it’s noteworthy that there is no surf on the island’s coast! For the adept surfer, it’s good to know that Ceningan and Lembongan are not far. We recommended spending at least three days exploring Nusa Penida.

Beach Bliss
East Island
- Atuh Beach, a hidden beach on Nusa Penida that will take your breath away with its clifftop vistas. It’s a little tricky to get to but you won’t regret it.
- Diamond Beach, just paradise. It can be difficult to access for some people and note that there is no access at high tide. Quite a busy beach but definitely worth the visit!
- Angel Billabong is accessible by a short and easy walk. A very photogenic location!
West Island
- Kelingking Beach is a must see. The descent to the site is around 40 minutes and the path can be a little rough. We recommend the treck either in the early morning or late afternoon.

TRAVELER ADVICE
The road is not well built in Nusa Penida. When touring the island it’s best to find a driver who knows where to go. Tourist areas are well connected however GPS signals can often be weak when venturing further out. Your villa manager can assist in finding the right driver.
