Villa Cemara is a secluded two-bedroom villa on Nusa Ceningan, a 30-minute boat ride from Bali.

Perched on a cliff, it offers sweeping views of the Ceningan channel, Nusa Lembongan and Mount Agung, with sunrise and sunset vistas.

Each ocean-view bedroom has a king bed and en-suite; a third toilet serves the lounge and pool. An open-plan living, dining and kitchen area opens to shaded terraces leading to a white deck, infinity pool and Bali Bengong

Staff provide discreet cleaning, transfers, and help with activities such as snorkelling, yoga and day trips. Wildlife and morning birdsong add to the tranquil setting. Not suitable for young children due to unfenced pool and steep drops.

Villa Cemara, perched on a cliff face, offers uninterrupted sea views over the Ceningan channel surf break to mainland Bali and the Nusa Ceningan/Lembongan channel, with it’s ever changing colours and tidal flow. Watch the morning sun rise to the views to Nusa Lembongan and Mount Agung, through to the afternoon sunset over the ocean to Bali.

Villa Cemara is located on the tranquil island of Nusa Ceningan, a short 30 min boat ride from fast-paced Bali. This villa is comprised of two ocean view bedrooms, that open to the large open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area. This in turn opens with folding windowed doors onto the top covered terrace, offering day-long shade. Stairs lead below to the white terrace, from which steps lead down to the pool deck area, infinity swimming pool and Bali Bengong.

The bedrooms are located three steps up from the ground floor with water views. Each bedroom has a king size bed, a wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom. There is a third toilet that can be accessed from the lounge or pool area.The open plan living room, kitchen & dining room overlooks spectacular ocean views, with the lower terrace overlooking the infinity pool. We invite you to enjoy a tranquil and natural side of Bali.

We see small native animals from time to time and the local swifts and swallows are famous together with the occasional kingfisher, providing with wonderful morning bird song.

Villa Cemara has wonderful staff, who will meet & greet you to take you to our villa. They will discretely clean the villa & assist in guiding you to a variety of nearby cafes and restaurants for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The villa manageress is there to help you with anything you need during your stay. You can also contact us directly to help with booking enquiries or any other questions you might have, whether it be day trips to Nusa Penida, scuba/snorkelling tours, yoga sessions, or massages. There are two Balinese Puras (shrines) on site where offerings are made each morning, and the pool is maintained on a bi-weekly schedule.

Villa Cemara, situated in a cul de sac off the Ceningan main road, offers a private, secluded space. You may easily access local restaurants, beaches and surf breaks or simply relax by the infinity pool or terraces and watch beautiful sunsets every afternoon. It is the perfect getaway for family or group of friends.

Lovely villa! Very large and spacious. Rosa was great at communication and checking us in. Near to good restaurants, but would need a bike to explore some of the other sights like the Blue Lagoon and Secret Beach

We spent two wonderful days at Villa Cemara in Nusa Ceningan and it was an unforgettable experience. The location is simply stunning, right on the water with a sweeping view of the sunset. On our second evening, the sky lit up in the most spectacular colors — easily the best sunset I’ve ever seen. The villa itself is spotless and spacious, with an infinity pool that our kids couldn’t get enough of. The split-level layout — pool at the lower level and rooms, lounge, and a broad deck/verandah above — gave us both space and comfort. The staff made the stay even more special. Rosa, the manager, was prompt, efficient, and always on top of things, helping us arrange scooters and groceries without any hassle or inflated prices. Moneek came daily to clean and, as a bonus, is also a skilled masseuse. What stood out most was the genuine hospitality — no hidden charges, just honest care. Villa Cemara offers the perfect mix of relaxation, beauty, and warm service. Highly recommended for all.
